The drop in median household incomes is occurring simultaneously with an almost triple digit increase in tuition at the University of California and double digit average tuition increases at private universities nationwide.  There’s little wonder that middle income families are concerned about paying for college.  What families can control is where to apply and where to enroll when spending their educational dollars to gain the greatest value–which as we discussed in our podcast series, making college selection a priority in the college admissions process.
